The Director of Professional Services is a leadership role responsible for managing and growing the Professional Services organization across the UK & Nordics. This position will oversee the delivery of software implementation projects, partner collaboration, resource management, and customer success through high-quality service delivery. The Director will ensure that projects are executed with excellence, aligned with corporate strategy, and that revenue and profitability targets are achieved. The role is also accountable for delivering an accurate forecast of Professional Services revenue and Services Sales, in close alignment with the Sales organization. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy Define and execute the Professional Services strategy across the UK & Nordics in alignment with corporate objectives. Drive organizational transformation and continuous improvement to ensure scalability, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, customers, and partners. Service Delivery & Governance Oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to budget. Establish and enforce best practices, delivery methodologies, and quality standards. Implement strong governance models, forecasting accuracy, and performance reporting. People & Resource Management Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, consultants, and technical experts. Drive a high-performance culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and collaboration. Optimize global resource utilization and capacity planning across internal staff and external partners. Financial & Forecasting Management Own the Professional Services P&L, ensuring revenue growth and margin achievement. Deliver accurate forecasting of Professional Services revenue and Services Sales. Monitor and manage utilization, billable rates, backlog, and pipeline forecasting. Introduce and scale premium service offerings, hybrid delivery models, and nearshore capabilities. Customer, Sales & Partner Engagement Strengthen customer relationships by ensuring successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction. Work closely with the Sales organization to support pre-sales activities, proposals, and deal shaping. Align sales and delivery planning to drive accurate forecasting and strong revenue performance. Manage partner enablement and performance, ensuring high-quality subcontractor and partner delivery. Qualifications: Proven experience (at least 5 years) in Professional Services, Consulting, or related leadership roles within the software or technology industry. Strong track record of leading delivery teams and complex, large-scale software projects. Deep understanding of Professional Services financials (utilization, backlog, P&L, margins). Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate revenue and sales forecasting. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile). Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred. Success Measures: Achievement of Professional Services revenue and margin targets. Accurate and timely forecasting of Professional Services revenue and Services Sales. Consistent delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget. High customer satisfaction (measured via NPS/CSAT). Improved forecast accuracy and resource utilization rates.
