Job Details Job Location: Fullerton - Fullerton, CA 92831 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $122,400.00 - $134,400.00 Salary The role of the Director of Didactic Education (DDE) in the School of PA Studies (SPAS) at Marshall B. Ketchum University is to provide comprehensive leadership and coordination for the didactic phase and Master's Capstone courses, fulfill teaching, service, and scholarly responsibilities as a principal faculty member, support university and program goals and initiatives, and engage with internal and external stakeholders as requested. The DDE reports directly to the Program Director. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate knowledge of ARC-PA standards and their application to didactic curriculum Provide administrative oversight of the didactic phase curriculum and Master’s Capstone courses in alignment with the program’s mission, vision, goals, and outcomes Coordinate, manage, support, and oversee didactic operations for faculty and students, including courses, lectures, purchases, scheduling, and contracts Provide regular feedback, mentorship, and support to faculty and students Serve as an advisor to individual students Ensure the availability of remedial and reassessment activities Coordinate tutoring for at-risk students Collect, organize, evaluate, and interpret academic performance, outcomes data, and trends Ensure program documents are consistently updated and accessible Implement didactic updates collaboratively based on program goals, outcome data, and ARC-PA standards Work collaboratively to ensure teaching alignment with course, graduate, and program outcomes, ARC-PA standards, and NCCPA blueprint topics Coordinate student advisement groups and didactic evaluations Work interdepartmentally with MBKU administrators and staff Manage online didactic platforms Monitor and document student progress Coordinate and chair student progress meetings for didactic students Coordinate and chair didactic faculty meetings Maintain an up-to-date Didactic Operations Manual Provide instruction across the didactic and clinical phases Serve on various SPAS, University, and ad hoc committees as requested, including but not limited to admissions, curriculum, and leadership committees Participate in scholarly, service, and professional activities, including supervision of PA students at community events Actively participate in ongoing program self-assessment activities, including meetings, data collection, organization, interpretation, and providing oral and written reports Attend and support SPAS and University events and programs Serve as a school representative as requested by the Program Director QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
