What the day will look like Working with network offices across the globe – our London GBC D&O team is organised into 4 regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC and UK) and opportunities come from any of our 120+ countries of operation. Every member of the team is empowered to build and foster relationships with a view to being ‘match fit’ when an opportunity to work together arises. In your downtime, you’ll reach out to counterparts and peers to build trust and to hear what’s happening around the organisation. Hosting clients – whether in-personal or virtual you will be skilled at hosting clients for regular, ad hoc and market facing meetings. You will be comfortable working alongside a retailer or hosting without retail support. We have welcoming office space and excellent on-site catering, with the support of a peerless team assistant who will help coordinate client and market engagements. Negotiating deals – you will have a book of business from day one. We will expect you to assess that book for opportunities to expand (e.g. with more product lines such as EPL, PTL and Commercial Crime; to cross-sell opportunities with other product lines and to build connections with other specialty areas of Aon. Part of the value you will bring to clients will include limit and coverage assessments and you’ll have a keen sense of the commercial, thinking about brokerage levels and use of appropriate facilities. You will be responsible for identifying when a client account is at risk, and we will want you to add your experience to shore up every client, every time. Delivering service excellence – you will use our systems, processes and Client Service Delivery model to complete placements in a compliant, timely manner respecting our clearly defined delivery targets. If you are stretched, you’ll ask for support with a view to our team-level stats being optimised. Representing D&O and the GBC – to support leadership in ensuring that the team works as a cohesive unit meeting all service requirements agreed with Aon offices, clients, insurers and other stakeholders. Reporting up and communicating across In coordination with the Aon offices, agree timetables and produce new and renewal business presentations ensuring that complete risk information is provided to Insurers. Acquire quotations from Insurers and prepare quote options and comparisons for the client. Provide technical support and advice to other Aon offices acting as a referral point in relation to contract certainty queries providing in depth analysis on accounts in matters relating to figures, contracts and wording. Build and maintain high functioning working relationships with relevant internal teams, leaders and Insurers. Continued development of own technical skills and commercial awareness through; on the job training; attending and presenting at relevant internal/external events. Ensure risk data is recorded accurately to support management information requirements. Assist leadership in the planning and budgeting process encompassing proactive revenue, expense and jeopardy management. Carry out such projects, tasks and other duties as may be specified by business leaders.
