HCI is seeking a Digital Fundraising Officer who will play a vital role in strengthening our online fundraising presence, optimizing digital campaigns, and supporting our ongoing emergency response and relief initiatives. As a key member of the fundraising team, you will lead efforts to develop, manage, and enhance digital fundraising strategies across various platforms, ensuring effective engagement with donors, supporters, and online communities. Location: GTA
Number of positions: 1
Terms: Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: 55,000 - 60,000 CAD Annually

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Campaign Management
- Develop, execute, and monitor digital fundraising campaigns across social media, email, website, and online advertising platforms.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to identify priorities and create tailored digital strategies for key appeals and emergencies.
- Optimize campaign performance through audience segmentation and targeted outreach.
Content Creation & Online Engagement
- Create engaging digital content, including graphics, videos, messages, and landing pages, to drive donor engagement.
- Coordinate with the communications team to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all platforms.
- Manage and update fundraising content on the organization’s website and donation pages.
Platform Optimization & Data Management
- Monitor online donation platforms to ensure user-friendly functionality and seamless donor experience.
- Track campaign metrics, analyze performance data, and prepare regular reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain donor data integrity, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, conversions, and engagement.
Donor Engagement & Community Building
- Respond to online inquiries and engage with digital audiences to strengthen relationships and build donor loyalty.
- Identify trends and opportunities to increase online giving and expand donor reach.
- Support the development of digital stewardship initiatives, such as thank-you messages, updates, and impact stories.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, fundraising, or a related field.
- Previous experience in digital fundraising, digital marketing, content creation, or campaign management.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, email marketing tools, and online advertising.
- Excellent writing and content creation skills.
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Insights.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively.
- Demonstrated passion for humanitarian causes and HCI’s mission.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French or another language is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are essential.
