This role focuses on feasibility studies, conceptual layouts, design calculations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate ideas into viable engineering solutions before detailed design and production.Develop and evaluate conceptual designs based on customer needs, technical requirements, and business objectivesCreate concept sketches, layouts, and preliminary 3D models using CAD and engineering toolsPerform feasibility studies, trade-off analyses, and high-level design calculationsDefine design intent, assumptions, risks, and constraints during early project phasesCollaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams to ensure concepts are practical and cost-effectiveSupport design reviews, presenting concepts, alternatives, and recommendations to stakeholdersEnsure concepts align with engineering standards, safety regulations, and sustainability goalsContribute to innovation initiatives, value engineering, and continuous improvementPrepare and maintain concept design documentation, including specifications and reportsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, or a related fieldExperience in concept design, product development, or early-stage engineeringStrong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, AutoCAD)Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, materials, and manufacturing processesExperience performing concept-level calculations and simulationsAbility to translate abstract ideas into structured engineering solutionsAdditional InformationEqual Opportunity: We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
