Our employer is a non-profit organization established and operated by injured veterans, dedicated to providing essential and immediate assistance, mentorship, and long-term support to newly injured individuals who have sacrificed their well-being for the safety of others. They are currently seeking a Delegations Coordinator (Remote, Toronto) to oversee all operational aspects of their nine annual delegations to the U.S. and Canada
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, organize, and support delegations in the U.S., Canada, and internationally.
- Collaborate with local host families and the head office teams in Israel and the U.S. to develop and implement the delegation's schedule.
- Plan events, activities, and dinners.
- Maintain daily communication via email and phone with lay leaders and professional leadership.
- Provide comprehensive logistical support during the delegation week.
- Be available to travel within the U.S. and Canada 2-5 times per year.
- Potentially hire and manage support staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience as a program coordinator or in a related role
- Proficiency in event planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Strong computer skills and internet research abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew
- Detail-oriented and highly efficient
- Capable of working independently
Terms:
Salary: 70-80k CAD (based on experience)
Vacation: 20 days (4 weeks)
Environment: Remote, travel will be required
