Inside the Role As the Dealer Credit Analyst you are responsible for gathering, analyzing and recommending dealer credit requests according to the credit criteria of Daimler Truck Financial. You will also support other Dealer Credit functions including Wholesale Administration and Audit. What You Drive at DTFS Prepare formal submission of credit files as required for renewals and increases of existing dealer credit facilities with recommendations for management review and decision Review new credit requests by analyzing financial and credit information and collateral security position - check for accuracy, risk and structure while providing recommendations Monitor dealer performance - review of dealer financial statements providing reasoned recommendations Service Dealer Accounts: complete monthly maintenance including overline approvals, monitoring inventory aging and contingencies on approved files Develop a strong relationship by interacting with Dealer Finance Managers joining dealer meetings and having joint Dealer Finance Manager/Dealer Credit Analyst goals Knowledge You Should Bring BS/BA and prefer 2 years of relevant experience or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree Experience with Credit Analyst, Finance and Controlling, Legal Documents Review, or Real State Transactions. Financial & Quantitative skills – Financial Statement analysis experience Strong attention to detail, business acumen & organizational savvy Customer focus and decision making skills Required problem solving & analysis Required relationship building Process Knowledge: Customer Service & Dealer Relationship Management Exceptional Candidates Might Have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Statistics Bilingual in French and English Previous experience in Retail Credit or Commercial Credit Previous experience in Wholesale Financing PC Skills: AIM, C-Wholesale, PEGA, EFT,ALFA, Credit Lens Where We Work This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- Mississauga, ON CA.
