The Personal Services Analytics and Data Solutions Department creates and supports turnkey data access solutions for the company’s various sectors. The goal of these solutions is to provide our clients with quality information so they can make better decisions more quickly and at the appropriate time. The department is made up of sixty business intelligence professionals, including data warehouse valorization analysts, data engineering advisors, architects and delivery managers. As a data warehouse valorization analyst, you collect and valorize data that comes through different channels. You extract, describe, analyze and interpret the data needed to make informed business decisions. You assist clients on analytics development initiatives that involve using data and creating data models tailored to business needs. More specifically, you will be required to: Help clients define their needs, make recommendations and provide advice for selecting, implementing and using data management tools. Analyze and identify user needs, work on data valorization initiatives, and ensure operationalization through cross-sector coordination. Help define and guide scopes (stories, releases, sprints, projects, tests). Conduct research and descriptive and diagnostic analysis to ensure optimal data use. Make recommendations in line with business issues and needs. Design and maintain data models. Produce and document data mapping specifications. Identify opportunities to improve methods and processes, and recommend improvements to data management tools. Advise and guide the development team and product owner by recommending different functional alternatives aligned with the architecture. Work with the architect to develop functional testing strategies. What you bring to the table Bachelor's degree in a related field A minimum of six years of relevant experience, including four years in functional analysis or other relevant experience Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Experience with agile methodology Knowledge of French is required Knowledge of Cloud and DataMesh technologies, data traceability and modelling (star, dimensional) Knowledge of SQL Knowledge of and experience with large data conversion projects Action oriented, Customer Focus, Differences, Nimble learning #LI-Hybrid Trade Union (If applicable) At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
