This is a hybrid position working 1-2 days per week in our Old Trafford, Manchester office. Duties and responsibilities: Data Stewardship Act as the organisation’s primary Data Steward, taking direct responsibility for managing data quality, lineage, and accessibility. Implement and maintain processes that enhance data integrity and usability across the business. Leadership of Data Governance Team Manage and mentor the Data Governance Team to ensure efficient delivery of data quality and compliance initiatives. Provide strategic direction to enhance data governance practices and align them with broader business goals. Data Strategy Development and Execution Create and implement a comprehensive data strategy for UK Tax, prioritising initiatives that drive business value. Define the roadmap for key data projects, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Alignment Foster collaboration between the Data Governance Team, technical teams, and business units to maximise the value of data assets. Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes of data initiatives to senior stakeholders. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform strategic business decisions. Education and Experience: Experience working with big data Previous involvement in data strategy and delivery strategy Experience working collaborative with stakeholders on data projects Exceptional understanding how to steward data and how to optimise this SQL and other languages would be advantageous but not essential Previous experience delivering on strategy and transformation Ryan offers outstanding opportunities to work in a dynamic, rapidly expanding tax services firm serving the world’s most respected Global 5000 companies.
