The Personal Services Analytics and Data Solutions Department creates and supports turnkey data access solutions for the various business sectors. Our data team’s goal is to provide our clients with high-quality information so they can make better decisions faster and at the right time. The department is home to some 60 business intelligence professionals, data engineering advisors, architects, delivery managers, and more. As a data engineering advisor, you help develop solutions for collecting, integrating, consolidating, cleaning, storing and transparently mining data. You help develop, maintain, support and run computer applications and data pipelines, while ensuring the functional analysis, IT design, coding, fine-tuning and documentation of programs. More specifically, you will be required to : Identify analytics needs based on feedback from users. Create data mapping specifications and documentation. Implement, monitor, maintain and improve a wide range of systems that meet business needs. Design and build data ingestion pipelines and data transformation processes. Develop algorithms, prototypes and proofs of concept within projects. Identify opportunities to improve systems based on trends and behaviours and recommend updates. Help develop procedures and document technical solutions. Carry out complex data engineering mandates on your own and provide support to your team members.
