Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join the team. This role will be full-time (36 hours), day shift, every weekend Friday-Sunday 8:00 am-8:30 pm Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) Job Responsibilities: 

  • The Computed Tomography Technologist administers sound patient care practices, according to department and hospital policies/procedures, to ensure patient safety. 
  • Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations. 
  • Demonstrates radiation protection/safety for patients, staff, and self, as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines, to ensure the safety of the patients and staff. 
  • Maintains equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of the patients and employees. 
  • Tracks patients according to department procedures. Identifies errors and takes immediate action for corrections, as evidenced by the EMR and PACS systems as well as the Radiology Information Systems reports.
  • Participates in department/hospital performance improvement initiatives, in-services and meetings, as evidenced by attendance records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
  • Certification: 
    • Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist.
    • Must obtain CT Certification one year upon acceptance of the offer.
    • Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association upon start.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment, preferred.
