Line of Service Internal Firm Services Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Sustainability Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary About the role: As Senior Manager, you’ll lead PwC UK’s sustainability reporting, ensuring our new strategy is brought to life through robust data and transparent disclosures. Overseeing both internal and external reporting, you’ll manage assurance processes, collaborate across functions, and drive continuous improvement to meet evolving regulatory standards. Reporting to the Director of Sustainability, you’ll guide a high-performing team and help shape the firm’s sustainability narrative. What your days will look like: Lead ESG reporting, ensuring disclosures meet ISSB, IFRS S1 & S2, and UK SRS standards. Oversee data governance and external assurance, maintaining audit-ready reports and systems. Drive process and systems improvement, leveraging data tools and dashboards to increase efficiency and transparency. Horizon-scan for emerging regulations, translating insights into practical actions. This role is for you if: Extensive professional experience, including preferably 5+ years in corporate sustainability/ESG reporting. Strong understanding of leading frameworks (ISSB, SBTi, GHG Protocol) and assurance frameworks (e.g. ISAE 3000/3410). Experience managing teams through full ESG reporting cycles. Experience with digital ESG/data platforms (e.g. UL360, Workiva, Power BI or equivalents) Analytical mindset with the ability to interrogate data and translate findings into actionable insights. Strong project management skills, with attention to accuracy and deadlines.
