Job Description As a Corporate Recoveries Litigation Specialist, you will play a key role in managing legal costs and ensuring efficient litigation processes. Your expertise will help us maintain cost efficiency, ensure the right outcomes and optimise how we work with external legal partners. As a Corporate Recoveries Litigation Specialist, we are looking for someone to: Ensure legal costs are necessary, proportionate, and aligned with business priorities Select and manage external legal firms effectively, ensuring instructions are properly scoped and cost-benefit assessed Identify opportunities to bring legal work in-house and streamline recovery processes Challenge excessive costs and maintain robust oversight to ensure compliance with internal standards Qualifications Essential Experience of the recoveries legal process for real estate within a bank or specialist lender Highly pragmatic and practical, with a strong common sense commercial balance alongside a strong risk focus Experienced in managing conflict with 3rd parties and stakeholders alike to deliver a win win situation Strong analytical skills to evaluate cost-benefit scenarios Excellent negotiation skills Ability to work collaboratively and make informed decisions under pressure If you feel you have some of the skills mentioned above, but not all, please do still apply and we would be happy to have a further discussion with you in regards to your suitability for the role.
