Highlights: Summary: The Construction Project Manager shall be responsible to coordinate, supervise, and complete construction projects for Baptist Health facilities. This individual will also inspect construction projects to ensure safety for all visitors, patients, and employees. The Project Manager will collaborate with architects, contractors, and managers in regards to any on-going projects. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience: Degree in Building Science or comparable construction superintendent experience required. Minimum 10 years' experience in commercial construction required. Construction supervision experience preferred. License / Certification: None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Must be able to interact with all levels of Administration, often under stressful conditions. • Should be able to bring complex problems to a timely solution, utilizing available resources, and keeping within fiscal restraints. • Must possess reasoning ability and good independent judgement. Work Conditions/Physical Requirements: Position requires sitting for 20% of the workday and mobility 80% of the workday. There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action. Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
