About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic Composite Fitter to join the Composite Fitting Shop on our weekend shift. This is a fixed term contract opportunity to start beginning of January 2026 and ending May 2026. The opportunity is on a weekend shift working 06:00-18:00 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a core department, in assembling high quality carbon components for our F1 racing car and our customer supply, in the most efficient, cost-effective manner. Key Accountabilities (Duties): Trimming, fitting and bonding carbon fibre components utilising engineering drawings and build instructions. Assembling moulds, jigs and fixtures. Ability to deal with technical challenges and solve problems as they arise. Responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards on all manufactured composites components to defined standards. Proactively contributing to the improvement of quality and efficiency. Working to challenging and demanding lead times. Being aware of Health and Safety requirements. Assisting other areas of the department as required. Adhering to surface preparation and bonding procedures. Candidate Profile: Ability to demonstrate significant previous experience of fitting/trimming a broad range of composite materials in Motorsport/F1. A methodical and thorough approach to the work with excellent attention to detail. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, always remaining respectful. A self-motivator and ability to motivate others. Work as part of a team in an ever-demanding environment. Enthusiastic and able to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues. Work well under pressure to meet demanding deadlines. Able to work with minimal supervision. A can-do attitude whilst remaining flexible.
