JOB DESCRIPTION: 12/22/2025 TITLE: Community Engagement Coordinator FLSA STATUS: Full-time Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Amenity & Engagement Manager LOCATION: Prescott Valley, AZ - Jasper SUMMARY The Community Engagement Coordinator is a key forward-facing role in delivering outstanding customer experience and actively supporting the values, vision, and philosophies of the company to stakeholders of J Club and Jasper Community Association. The Community Engagement Coordinator sets the tone for customer service and stakeholder interactions and models the qualities of neighborliness and inclusion. This position requires an enthusiastic attitude, willingness to work a flexible schedule, and the ability to handle multiple activities with exceptional follow through. The primary goal of the Coordinator is to support and manage the administrative duties of the Jasper Community Life team, assist in the coordination and management of facility needs and the cultivation of stakeholder engagement. As an integral member of the team, the Coordinator will contribute to the success of events, programs, and other resident engagement experiences, all of which are designed to create a sense of community and lifestyle that sets Jasper apart from any other place to live. The Coordinator will actively support the values, vision, and philosophies of Jasper and Cohere Life, Inc., while meeting community stakeholder needs with a high level of satisfaction. SCOPE Assist in the development and implementation of community events, community programs and other activities that support our commitment to innovative community-building initiatives. Coordinate annual engagement calendar in support of Jasper Engagement activities. Facilitate Ambassador Training Program in partnership with Management, providing standardized on boarding of new staff for knowledge and skill development and assist in leading ongoing training for excellence. Provide customer service with a friendly and caring approach, following established standards and guidelines. Must be comfortable addressing residents who may not be following policies and able to manage escalated situations with composure and professionalism. Maintain J Club calendar and proactively alert Manager(s) to scheduling conflicts. Contribute to the development and execution of community strategic plans & budgets. Support delivery of engagement programs and events inclusive of welcome, volunteer, club and group programs and signature events. Maintain community records in Cloud-based storage files. Inform upcoming resident communications with current program and event information, manage event registration and calendar systems, and informational/reference materials. Help monitor, evaluate, and maintain community website content pages as required. Provide customer support to Jasper residents as needed. Work collaboratively with broader Cohere Community Life team and colleagues to identify and implement best practices to ensure efficiencies of scale. Ability to demonstrate flexibility KNOWLEDGE | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Possession of a bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, communications, recreation or similar field with demonstrable transferable skills preferred. A minimum of 3 years’ experience planning events and/or programs preferred Experience of one to three years in customer service and working in a professional environment required. A minimum of 1 year of experience working with volunteers, organization members or similar stakeholder groups preferred Effective communication, motivation, cooperation, and conflict resolution. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required. Experience working in a master-planned community or other residential community setting is highly desirable WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS The Community Engagement Coordinator should expect to: Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings and holidays. Provide one’s own transportation for off-site programs, meetings with partners, picking up necessary supplies, etc.; must have a current drivers’ license and an acceptable driving record. Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and be on feet for extended periods.
