ROLE OVERVIEW The Communication & Events Intern, reporting to the Communications Coordinator, will assist with social media, communication, and events to support the BioLabs France team. The ideal candidate is creative and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, the Communication & Events Intern should be innovative and self-motivated with a keen interest in supporting early-stage life science startups by organizing valuable events and driving strategic messages to the community. RESPONSIBILITIES Social Media Maintain, post, and update social media profiles such as LinkedIn and Twitter with appropriate and appealing content Assist with social media analytics and reporting Create engaging and attractive promotional materials and content (e.g. video, photos, fliers, brochure) Help develop and implement marketing strategies to capture target audience Monitor the impact of social media strategies and marketing campaigns Communication Draft print and digital media to be shared with stakeholders and the public, including but not not limited to sponsors, partners, residents, and potential clients Enhance the quality and style of internal and external communications such as newsletters Assist in the development of a communication plan with stakeholders Monitor the current state of the life science ecosystem in France Events Support the planning and execution of internal and external events Conduct post-event debriefs analyzing the performance and impact QUALIFICATIONS Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in communications or a related field of study, preferably M1 or equivalent Experience in digital and social media marketing or advertising, and content creation Detail-oriented, organized, and ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in French and English Interest in the life science/biotech space Available to assist in after-hour events Type of Job: Internship Internship Duration: 6 to 7 months (Start January 1st, 2026) Location: In-Person, Paris (Hôpital Hôtel-Dieu) Compensation: 1,000.00 € per month Additional Benefits: Public Transportation Assistance
