We’re proud to foster an inclusive environment driving innovation and excellence, and we welcome you to join us on our mission to shape the future of clinical development Clinical Research Physician ( Board certified Neurologist or Psychiatrist ) South London - Clinic Based Accellacare is looking for a Board certified Neurology or Psychiatry specialist registered in the UK GMC Specialist Register with experience in Alzheimer's disease to work as a Principal Investigator at our dedicated research site in Orpington, London. This is a full time ( part time is negotiable ) position that would require working as a Principal Investigator on Neurology or Psychiatry commercial clinical trials as well as working as a Sub-Investigator in other clinical areas. The position will require working only on commercial clinical trials as well as some input to the business. Main duties and responsibilities of the job Working as a Principal Investigator on Neurology or Psychiatry at our site in Orpington, London Working as a Sub Investigator in other clinical areas at our site in Orpington, London Provide specialist medical support to the business Comply with ICH/GCP standards and UK clinical trials regulation Interview, screen, enroll and monitor the clinical trial participants Provide medical care for the clinical trial participants Perform study specific tasks (clinical examination and evaluations, review of blood test results, X rays results, etc.) Record Adverse events/Serious Adverse events Ensure excellent standards of patient safety and quality of the service Develop positive relations with sponsors, clients and monitors as required. Skills/qualifications and experience required for the job Fully qualified, GMC registered medical doctor with a license to practice in UK Neurology or Psychiatry Board certification ( GMC specialist registration ) with at least 3-5 years experience as a Consultant/Specialist Clinical experience in Alzheimer's disease ( at least 2-3 years ) Experience in clinical trials as a Principal Investigator ( especially in Neurology or Psychiatry ) or as a Sub Investigator would be an advantage Package Description Accellacare is a vibrant company with a great team of professionals .
