Description

Mindful Health Solutions is seeking a Clinical Applications Manager to oversee the implementation, management, and support of healthcare software systems to ensure they meet clinical and operational needs. This role involves bridging the gap between clinical staff and IT, managing projects, developing strategies, and ensuring successful adoption and performance of applications. Key responsibilities include project execution, staff management, stakeholder collaboration, and problem-solving to enhance patient care and workflow efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle for new clinical applications, including planning, execution, and implementation, while managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical staff and the IT department, gathering clinical feedback to ensure software meets practical needs and coordinating with IT on technical requirements.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategies for the clinical application portfolio, including creating roadmaps for deliverables and optimizing applications to achieve organizational goals.
  • Serve as a business relationship manager for stakeholders, providing status updates and ensuring clear communication about projects, issues, and risks.
  • Act as a technical escalation point, troubleshooting complex problems and developing innovative solutions to improve services.


Requirements
  • 5 years in healthcare, healthcare operations, or information technology, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like information science, computer science, or health information technology is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential. 
  • Experience with NextGen highly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows, documentation needs, and regulatory standards.
