CLIENT ADVISOR, COMMERCIAL INSURANCE As part of our team, you will focus on responding to inbound quote requests from our online application process and underwrite, quote, and issue all new business documentation for clients. The Client Advisor, Commercial Insurance, New Business, will help to develop relationships with potential clients by assessing their insurance needs, providing coverage recommendations from top insurers, and completing risk assessments. To ensure the focus remains on new business, once the risk is bound and issued, the new client will be assigned to a servicing broker for future handling. We will train you on our specialized programs and you will become the expert, armed with the knowledge to educate, and guide clients to ensure satisfaction and fulfilment of their insurance needs. Our policies are tailored for owners of beauty care businesses, such as hair stylists & estheticians, and pet care businesses, such as groomers, dog trainers and boarding facilities. We offer our clients a modern, uncomplicated experience for their business insurance, and we are setting the industry standard for beauty and pet care business insurance. We operate under the brand names of PROfur and PROtique. LOCATION AND STATUS Any Acera Ontario office – preference will be given to Newmarket, ON Full-time, permanent JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Reviewing applications and proactively advising and assisting prospects to determine coverages and limits required for each unique business prospect. Calculating accurate quotes and communicating premium, notable conditions of coverage and binding requirements to prospects. Follow up with prospects for quote questions & coverage review. Issuance of new policy documentation. Identify and refer opportunities for cross-selling home, auto, and other business operations, to other Acera experts. QUALIFICATIONS RIBO License required Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in the insurance industry Experience with Commercial Insurance is an asset Self-motivated and committed to excellence in customer service Strong interpersonal skills High degree of comfort with technology – we are paperless! Skilled user of Microsoft Office, fast and accurate typing skills Skilled at problem solving and decision making in the client’s best interest.
