Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our team in Crawley. You’ll be responsible for carrying out a mixture of deliveries for our Wickes Kitchen & Bathrooms contract. This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a Tuesday to Saturday contracted to 45 hours per week, with a starting time between 05:00 – 07:00. What you’ll do on a typical day: Drive Company vehicles and operate company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legislation Comply with the vehicle security and standing procedures at all times Carry out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle, reporting any defects immediately This role ability to self-manage and use initiative for solving problems Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident and damage reporting What you need to succeed at GXO: Hold a valid in date Class 2 licence Hold a Valid Digital Tachograph Card & (Driver CPC) Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience Good timekeeper, with the ability to work unsupervised This role will include a DBS check We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
