People Management Lead, develop, and inspire the night catering team, conducting regular appraisals and reviews.Manage recruitment, induction, and ongoing training to enhance team skills and customer experience.Prepare and manage staff rotas, resolve queries, and review timesheets.Deliver Toolbox Talks and team briefings, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.Champion Somerset Larder values and promote a positive, collaborative work environment. Qualifications Food Safety 3 (or gained within 1 month of appointment)Health & Safety qualification (Desirable) · Food Safety 4· Management qualification at level 5 (e.g. ILM5)· Chef qualification· HACCP qualification EXPERIENCE Leadership and management of chefs/catering team membersPeople leadershipChef qualified by qualification or experienceChef experience at sous chef/chef supervisor level or equivalentExperience of Food Safety Management SystemsExperience of HACCP system operationExperience in using online ordering tools and operating systems SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE · Good interpersonal skills· Proven communication skills both written and verbal· Allergens· Dietary requirements.
