ED Per Diem CNT Provides personal care and professional excellence by assisting in observing patients and implementing nursing care under the direct supervision of an RN. Job Duties: Make and document observations of patients as directed by an RN and within parameters of education level. Share information gathered from patient observation with RN in a timely manner. Contribute to formulation of patient care plans as directed by RN. Perform and document nursing interventions in accordance with education level and Wood County Hospital standards under the direction of an RN. Document responses to nursing interventions provided. Competent to perform procedures and use equipment required in the care of medical/ surgical/pediatric patients (if completed that portion of nursing education). Competent to care for adult patients and children if completed that portion of nursing education. Recognize and report immediately to RN any changes in a patient's condition such as a code, shock or adverse reaction. Minimum Requirements: Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing/surgical technology program.
