Summary: The Assistant Manager is responsible for reviewing, investigating, and resolving accounts in the Baptist Health Accounts Receivables. This involves supervising Biller and Collectors, contributing to the tracking of key performance indicators, identifying and addressing on-going training needs, and working with a focus on process improvement. The Assistant Manager will excel at communicating expectations to team members and providing follow-up to ensure task completion. The Assistant Manager will utilize multiple computer systems(STAR Financials, SSI ClickOn, MPF, PowerChart, etc.) on a daily basis. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for a variety of Billing and Collections activities. The Assistant Manager will work at the direction of the CBO Billing and Follow-up Manager and other CBO Leadership to facilitate ongoing operations. Education / Experience:High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree or technical certification preferred. At least 3 years supervisor/team lead experience preferred. Previous background of working in healthcare related field for at least 1 year required. Experience with UB-04 abd 1512 claim form billing for all payer types. Experience with Insurance Follow Up standards and practices (CAS codes). Must have PC experience with Microsoft Office suite. License / Certification: CPAR preferred.
