GBS Customer Development Modern Trade Lead Function: Global Business Services (GBS) Work Level: WL2C Location: UK/Europe About the Role Unilever is on an ambitious journey to evolve Global Business Services (GBS) into a fully integrated, value-driven intelligence engine that delivers exceptional outcomes across our global Value Streams. As the GBS CD MT Lead , you will drive the overall CD GBS MT strategy through to market execution, generating F4G, Capacity release for CD (to focus on what counts) and improve operation effectiveness. The scope of the role is significant and will include defining CD Ops Taxonomy as part of the wider Forecast to Customer Fulfilment and Engage to Convert workstreams. Analysing market pain points and the market specific value case opportunity of deploying the fit to standard GBS ‘process, people and tech’ model. Business case creation and execution roadmap. Working with the market PMO to deploy with best in class change management. The successful candidate will be an accomplished transformation leader with extensive experience in Customer Development, with a strong track record of delivery and leading for change. They will have the ability to align diverse stakeholders, build transformation capability, and ensure that change management is delivered effectively across the business. Key Responsibilities • Define CD Ops Taxonomy • Partner with markets to create market specific CD GBS business cases that generate F4G, CD Capacity and Operational effectiveness. • Execute with markets with best in class change management • Partner with GD&T to define and execute the product road map for CD in MT markets. • Be a key leader in the CD GBS team, crafting the future strategy for CD About You Experience: • 5-10+ years’ experience in CD in MT markets, leading customer teams. CS&P and Customer Ops experience is an additional benefit. • Proven track record in delivering complex change projects • Strong experience leading cross-functional programs and driving measurable business outcomes. • Deep understanding of operating model transformation, process management, and enterprise change delivery. • Proven success building and leading high-performing transformation teams. CD system understanding. · Executive presence and credibility with senior leadership. · Excellent communication, storytelling, and influencing skills. · Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving and delivery discipline. · Strong financial and operational acumen, with the ability to link transformation outcomes to business performance.
