JOB SUMMARY The Casual Dining Team Member role is a customer-facing position, focusing on serving hot and cold quick-service food and drink items. As a part of the Casual Dining team, you will be trained in all outlets including outdoor outlets throughout the Summer, working in both solo and team environments. The Casual Dining team member role focuses mainly on the serving, cleaning, and stocking of areas around the chalet and in outdoor locations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Cash handling Opening and closing procedures Preparation of specialty coffees Set up of display cases Maintenance and cleaning of equipment Serving guests in a prompt and friendly manner Providing excellent guest service Other duties as required SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position reports directly to the Casual Dining Manager, no direct supervisory responsibilities are given. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES Serving It Right Certificate required before employment starts Specialty coffee experience is an asset Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of general health and safety procedures We provide training however we require a willingness to learn High energy and strong work ethic Personable, friendly and outgoing WORKING CONDITIONS Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.
