As a Clinical Nurse Specialist at our Cheltenham Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. As well as post-registration experience, you have experience in Oncology and a SACT (systemic anti-cancer therapies) qualification or you’re working towards this. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will: Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service Work autonomously, managing a caseload Fully assess each patient’s needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care Assist consultants during clinics Liaise with external care providers and local NHS Trusts Be able to demonstrate advanced communication skills Have knowledge and experience of holistic needs assessments and post surgery wound care Helping you feel good.
