What you’ll be responsible for As a Catering Assistant, you will be required to: Work to appropriate procedures to ensure the safety of all persons on site. Daily reconciliation of income with till receipts. Serve food and beverages to customers. Ensuring tables are clean and available for customers to use. General cleaning duties with the kitchen and storage areas. Cooking for colleagues an serving hot meals during breakfast and lunch time hours. About you Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills Ideally Level 2 Food Hygiene Catering / Retail experience Practical Health & Safety experience Retail customer service knowledge or specialism Working with the general public Ability to work on own initiative Ability to communicate effectively in English Commercial awareness Numeracy / till operating skills Good to know 37 hours full-time contract working annualised hours (usually more hours in summer and less in winter) Must be able to work weekends and holidays The role will be five days/week working across a Monday - Sunday rota with possible hours between 8.30am - 6.00pm (to cover an 8 hour working day) Weekends and school holidays are our busiest times where more hours will be available For more information on the role please contact victoria.hadnett@dwrcymru.com Please note, we may close this role sooner if required.
