Job Title Buyer/Planner NPI (Plymouth, MN) Job Description 565761 Buyer/Planner NPI (Plymouth, MN) Join us as a New Product Introduction Buyer at our Plymouth, MN facility, where you’ll play a key role in driving innovation by supporting the Supply Chain Industrialization team and leading critical purchasing activities for cutting-edge medical devices. Your role: Work with our Industrialization teams by submitting purchase requisitions for prototype units and managing a variety of indirect spending across IGT-D. Your primary responsibility is to ensure purchase orders are submitted as requested, with the correct version and quantity to support all project builds and tests. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams worldwide to resolve purchase order issues and invoice discrepancies, ensuring payments are completed on time and for the correct amount. Conduct tactical material planning (forecasting and handshake feedback) with internal and external suppliers and distribution centers, optimizing through the use of planning calculation methods. Primary stakeholders include the NPI Supply Chain Team, but the role also supports anyone within IGT-D requesting purchases via our indirect purchasing system. This role carries high visibility and responsibility, with direct interaction across all levels of the business—from the Management Team overseeing IGT-D to Advanced Development programs. You're the right fit if: You have 5+ years of experience in progressive supply chain roles (buyer/planner, S&OP, demand planning, production scheduling) within a highly regulated, high-volume industry—medical devices or pharmaceuticals strongly preferred. Your skills include robust problem-solving, strong communication, proficiency in Excel, and experience using large-scale ERP systems. SAP experience is strongly preferred. You hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (manufacturing, operations, business, supply chain, or engineering). Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $63,000 to $100,800 The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
