Index Exchange is looking for a Buyer Development Director to lead and grow our strategic partnership with Omnicom in the UK, while supporting broader buyer development initiatives across the UK & Ireland market. This role will sit at the centre of Index’s relationship with Omnicom, owning senior stakeholder engagement across the holding company, its operating agencies, and associated trading and investment teams. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, deepening executive-level partnerships, expanding adoption of Index’s buyer products, and ensuring Omnicom teams fully understand and leverage the value of our marketplace. The role combines commercial ownership with consultative, technically informed engagement. You will act as a trusted advisor to Omnicom leadership and programmatic teams, providing insight into market dynamics, supply strategy, SPO, and evolving buying models. What we’re looking for: Strategic: Index values long-term partnerships built on insight and trust. You will provide strategic guidance to Omnicom stakeholders across the programmatic ecosystem, using Index’s buyer product suite to strengthen commercial outcomes and long-term alignment. Collaborative: You will work closely with Buyer Account Management, Operations, Product, and Publisher teams, acting as the internal owner of the Omnicom relationship and the subject matter expert on partner performance, growth opportunities, and marketplace engagement. Communicative: This is a highly visible, client-facing role. You will engage regularly with Omnicom stakeholders at all levels, from traders and programmatic leads through to senior investment, commercial, and executive leadership. Technical and consultative: You bring strong programmatic expertise, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of Index’s marketplace and buyer products to recommend the right solutions for Omnicom’s evolving needs.
