We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand our market presence, and deepen client engagement within the Capital Markets domain. This is a high-impact, client-facing role for a commercially driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Job Purpose The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and growing revenues from Euromoney’s Capital Markets Awards and Foreign Exchange Awards programmes. The role will focus on selling promotional tools, competitive intelligence, partner content, and certification solutions to winning institutions. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Head of Capital Markets to expand the total addressable market, develop new revenue streams, and increase client participation in our benchmarking and research analysis. Principal Responsibilities Own and manage the sales pipeline for the Capital Markets Awards and Foreign Exchange Awards, including amplification and certification packages. Identify, prospect, and engage with new institutions interested in Euromoney’s Awards and benchmarking programmes. Drive greater client engagement with Euromoney’s Capital Markets benchmarking and research analysis, encouraging participation and leveraging insights to create commercial opportunities. Sell a suite of promotional and partner content solutions, including competitive intelligence and certification tools, to institutions recognized by Euromoney. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at banks, financial institutions, and service providers. Collaborate with the Head of Capital Markets to identify new market segments and develop go-to-market strategies. Work with marketing and research teams to create compelling client propositions and bespoke solutions. Support the planning and operational delivery of physical awards ceremonies, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for clients and stakeholders. Accurately forecast and report on sales performance, pipeline, and market feedback. Ensure the highest standards of client service and delivery, acting as a trusted advisor to clients. Skills, Knowledge & Experience Essential: Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within financial services, capital markets, or related sectors. Experience selling promotional solutions, awards, sponsorship, or content partnerships. Strong consultative sales skills and ability to engage senior-level decision-makers. Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to exceed targets and grow new revenue streams. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong operational skills, with experience supporting or delivering high-profile events or awards ceremonies. Desirable: Experience with awards programmes, benchmarking, or financial publishing. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and digital marketing tools. Understanding of the capital markets ecosystem and key industry trends.
