Business Development Manager – London & Home Counties Salary: Up to £39,000 DOE + Uncapped OTE (£57,000+) Benefits: Company car, laptop, phone & more Location: Central London (Field-Based) Contract: Full-time, Permanent About the Role Are you a results-driven New Business Development Manager ready to make your mark across London and the Homes Counties? At Lyreco, we’re on the lookout for a dynamic sales professional to drive growth in the mid-market sector. This is a field-based, client-facing role where you’ll be identifying, targeting, and winning new business opportunities with companies spending between £20k–£100k annually and employing 150–500 staff. You’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle — from prospecting through to negotiation, closing, and onboarding — with the support of a market-leading organisation behind you. What You’ll Do Proactively hunt for new business across your territory, focusing on mid-market clients. Convert prospects into long-term customers, securing contracts and achieving sales & margin targets. Manage your pipeline with precision, delivering accurate forecasts and reports. Lead engaging client meetings, contract negotiations, tenders, and e-auctions. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver seamless new account set-up and growth. Position Lyreco as the go-to Workplace Solutions partner with a strong value proposition. What We’re Looking For Proven success in field sales / business development (new business hunter, not just account management). Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Commercially sharp, with a track record in mid-market or contract-level sales. Confident communicator who builds lasting relationships. Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint advanced skills a plus). Why Join Lyreco?
