MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (may include the following and other duties may be assigned): Remotely sells Medtronic's products and retains end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals. Identify, develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate. Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies. Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services. Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems. Arranges demonstration of products by field sales representatives. Assists the field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities as well as providing on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up. Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory. Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with key decision-makers, including physicians, administrators, and procurement departments. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training to healthcare providers to ensure they understand product features and benefits. Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing client concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and product launches. Submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and other administrative tasks. Attend virtual meetings, training, and conferences as required. Identify, develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate. CAREER STREAM: Typically sales professional individual contributors with direct sales responsibilities. May direct the work of other lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies and closing sales. Sells products and/or services to a group of clients and identifies new and potential customers. Works independently with general supervision. Builds relationships. Has a direct impact on achieving department’s sales results. May help to set objectives or goals for individual or team accounts. Works on larger, moderately complex accounts or have a small or medium-sized quota/territory. Understands market landscape, marketing and pricing structure, more influence on pricing structures. Works with sales, marketing and finance to structure complex contracts. Innovation and Complexity: Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in sales processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area. Recommends changes in account tactics to achieve sales goals. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Communication and Influence: May influence parties within own job function at an operational level. Obtains or provides information requiring some explanation or interpretation. Communicates with external customers and / or vendors, involving negotiation and / or presentations in order to manage relationships and close sales. Leadership and Talent Management: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level sales professionals and / or support employees. Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge gained through experience of sales techniques and job area typically obtained through education combined with sales experience. Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Requires High School Diploma AND a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree AND a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and working knowledge of company products and services. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION • High School Diploma, or; • Associate’s degree, or; • Bachelor's degree. JOB EXPERIENCE Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with a High School Diploma, or; Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with an associate’s degree, or; Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with a bachelor's degree. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES •Bilingual French/English •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong negotiation and closing skills. • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory when needed. DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred. JOB EXPERIENCE 3+ years of experience in health care sales, sales in medical devices, capital equipment sales, surgical sales, in-hospital pharmaceuticals, sales, contracts, training, clinical, marketing, customer/tech services, customer education or other customer facing role/experience. COMPÉTENCES Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite. Solides compétences en négociation et en conclusion de ventes. EXPÉRIENCE DE TRAVAIL 3+ années d’expérience en vente dans le domaine de la santé, dispositifs médicaux, équipements, produits pharmaceutiques hospitaliers, contrats, formation, marketing, services techniques ou rôle en contact direct avec les clients. COMPÉTENCES Connaissance pratique des techniques de vente, stratégies et développement de relations. Capacité démontrée à travailler de manière autonome et à obtenir des résultats. Succès documenté en vente, idéalement en B2B ou dans le domaine de la santé. Compétences en planification commerciale. Excellentes compétences en communication et en présentation. Capacité à former et éduquer le personnel médical, les collègues et le personnel de soutien technique. Maîtrise des technologies et applications (iPad, Salesforce.com, SAP); à l’aise avec l’informatique. Connaissance et/ou expérience en milieu hospitalier, laboratoire de cathétérisme, cabinet médical. Expérience dans la vente de produits complexes par téléphone.
