Job Description: The Business Customer Assistance (BCA) team resides within the Business Bank's Financial Restructuring Group (FRG) is a Centre of Expertise that manages higher-risk Business Banking relationships. These borrowers face challenges that may require time and expertise to remedy. The team is responsible for working with adversely risk rated Small Business Banking (SBB) borrowing customers that have encountered financial difficulty and/or show deterioration in their risk profile. The main activities of the team are Advanced Collections and Delinquency Management; Account Management (Restructuring) and Recoveries for the SBB Market Segment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Resource Officer position plays an integral role in the day-to-day management of all aspects of Oversight and Performance. The position is responsible for presenting solutions that enable and support the Account Specialists and Account Managers as well as assisting Management in maintaining oversight of various business metrics. The Resource Officer will proactively share knowledge and best practices in order to support these teams with product knowledge and support. The Resource officer will: Work with the Operations Manager & management to identify opportunities to support achieving repayment of customer's debts including opportunities to improve use of all available tools. Ensures all collection activities meet external regulatory & privacy requirements along with TD standards. Perform Monthly File reviews by established business deadlines and report results to management. Effectively handle escalated complaints with resolution, along with all correspondence regarding Customer Cares Issues for all business units Complete Write off /write off exclusion reports. Complete Reporting within the required timelines. Pull Calls for monthly call reviews my management. Pull Call and File reviews for quarterly calibration sessions and put minutes together for Management review. Support Management by ensuring Data is available for monthly partner presentations. Support the department in its aim for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Contribute to strong team morale by sharing knowledge, best practices, tips and techniques with other team members Superior problem resolution skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task effectively and work quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment. Sound knowledge of excel and bank systems including HOST (CIF & Loans), CDM, TSYS, LMS An understanding of TDCT Small Business Credit products is preferred Demonstrated experience providing, modeling, and sharing exceptional customer service and best practices. French would be considered an asset.
