Mix and serve beverages to members and guests while providing responsible, friendly, and professional service in a club environment. Key Responsibilities Follow all policies for the responsible service of alcohol Mix, prepare, and serve beer, wine, and cocktails according to approved recipes Take and fulfill drink and limited food orders for members and guests Greet members and provide attentive, courteous service Accurately confirm member charges and close tabs to ensure proper billing Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and proper setup/close-down procedures Stock and replenish bar supplies, garnishes, and snacks Monitor inventory levels and assist with liquor cost control Report member concerns or complaints promptly to management Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Prior bartending or food & beverage experience preferred (or equivalent training/education) Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English Strong attention to detail, organization, and common-sense problem-solving Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Frequent bending, reaching, walking, and use of hands Work in a fast-paced, sometimes loud environment with exposure to typical bar conditions Schedule & Expectations Seasonal position (late May through early October), six days a week Shifts include mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Reliability and attendance are essential Employees are expected to maintain a clean, professional appearance and follow all safety procedures Outcome Through strong service skills and professionalism, the bartender ensures a safe, enjoyable member experience while supporting effective inventory and cost control.
