Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join our Bank Team. The Bank Theatre Practitioner is expected to provide effective and efficient care to the highest possible standard and ensure patient safety. They will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a safe, effective, efficient care for patients and relatives, while delivering key performance targets including assurance that the professional nursing practice and delivery of care is aligned to the Cleveland Clinic London's mission and values. We have shifts available on the following patterns: Monday to Sunday Long Days: 07:30-20:00 Monday to Sunday Nights: 19:30-08:00 Bank Holidays: 07:30-20:00 & 19:30-08:00 What makes us different? Adhere to the NMC / HCPC Code of Professional Conduct at all times. Demonstrate clinical expertise in the care of any patients receiving treatment in the department. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients on an ongoing basis, coordinating the care given by all members of the clinical team. Ensure that accurate records are maintained reflecting both changes in the patient’s condition and the treatment delivered. Promote and participate in an effective communication dialogue with colleagues and other members of the multi-disciplinary team. Inform Senior Practitioners of any incidents or issues affecting patients or Caregivers and participate in the related investigations. Manage the clinical workload effectively, ensuring care is prioritised appropriately. Actively promote customer care, assisting in resolving local (informal) complaints and supporting the Team Leaders to investigate formal problems. What we need from you? Recent UK experience as a Scrub Practitioner within an acute hospital setting Nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) or ODP registration through Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) required. Nursing Bachelor’s Degree. Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty No restrictions to practice on NMC record. What can we offer you?
