Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit Hospital Cleaning Supervisors on the Bank to join our Environmental Services team. Reporting to the Deputy Environmental Services Manager, the Environmental Services Supervisor supports the leading and the management of Cleveland Clinic London’s (CCL) Environmental Services Operations. The Bank Hospital Cleaning Supervisor will support with supervising the technical and administrative functions of the Environmental Services Department and acts as a technical resource for the Shift Team Leaders and team members. Guide the team and make sure the department complies with legal and regulatory requirements such as CQC, joint commission and various cleaning accreditations etc. Support recruiting and monitoring team to retain and attract talent Ensure timely communication with teams to facilitate smooth operational procedures. Ensuring regular communication with all departments and stakeholders. Arranging and delivering training to ensure compliance to the highest standards. Committing to the continual implementing, monitoring, and improvement of Health and Safety, high standards and first-class patient care. Leads with patients' first approach and seeks opportunities to improve patient satisfaction. Continuously inspects and audit assigned areas to ensure high-quality of cleaning and maintenance is being performed. Maintains staffing levels by managing the rota to support daily operations and ensuring appropriate cross-coverage across shifts Liaising and managing third party suppliers such as maintenance contracts, pest control, laundry services etc. Other duties as assigned. What we need from you? High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Experience as a work leader, team leader, or supervisor experience in a related field Previous environmental services or housekeeping experience is highly preferred Strong customer service skills Strong technological skills are required to successfully perform day-to-day job duties. There are several systems, devices, and applications to work with and monitor. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. What can we offer you?
