Job Title: Locum Dietitian Banding: 6/7 Location: Ashton-under-Lyne Start: ASAP Duration: Full time Rate: £25- £34 Working hours: Monday-Friday We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Dietitian to join our team in Ashton-under-Lyne. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality nutritional care. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering wards such as the Surgical Unit and general medicine, and will be proficient in both enteral and parenteral nutrition. What will your responsibilities be: As a Locum Dietitian, you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress. You will work closely with medical and nursing staff to provide comprehensive nutritional support, particularly in the Surgical Unit and general medicine wards. You will be proficient in managing enteral and parenteral nutrition, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate nutritional interventions. Furthermore, you will educate patients and their families on dietary management, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures. You will also be involved in quality assurance activities and stay updated with the latest advancements in dietetics and nutrition. Qualifications and Experiences: Degree in Dietetics or related field HCPC registration Extensive experience in clinical dietetics Proficiency in enteral and parenteral nutrition Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and accuracy in patient assessments and care plans Experience in covering surgical and general medicine wards Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in the field Why work with Pulse?
