The Assurance Co-ordinator will play a key role in supporting project teams within the Major Projects Portfolio at Anglian Water to meet quality, compliance, and governance requirements throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures that project processes, documentation, and deliverables meet defined standards, contractual obligations, and relevant regulatory frameworks. Acting as a central point for assurance activities, the Assurance Coordinator will help maintain transparency, traceability, and accountability across the project’s operations. Key Accountabilities: Assurance Planning & Coordination: Support the development and delivery of integrated assurance plans, coordinate internal and external reviews, and maintain assurance schedules. Compliance & Governance: Monitor project activities to ensure alignment with governance frameworks and manage risks, issues, and non-conformances. Quality & Performance Monitoring: Track assurance metrics, maintain evidence for reporting, and oversee corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with project teams and assurance partners to embed consistent practices and promote assurance awareness. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance assurance processes and contribute to lessons learned across the portfolio. What we’re looking for? Experience working in project environments, ideally within regulated industries or large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of assurance, quality management, or compliance frameworks. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. High attention to detail and precision in documentation and reporting. Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Familiarity with Integrated Assurance & Approvals Plans (IAAP). Formal qualification in quality management, assurance, or project management (desirable). Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and a proactive, collaborative working style. Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. Why Anglian Water?
