Job Description What is the opportunity? Member of the Client Success Team (CST) working on cross-product onboarding with a primary focus on Canada and the US as well as support of other regions as required. What will you do? Member of a global CST responsible for the onboarding of clients primarily focused on onboarding requests from Canada into all RBC locations. Manage client lifecycle projects across the regional functional teams (KYC, AML, Legal, Operations, IT, Credit, Docs, Risk) to ensure smooth and efficient experience for the client and Sales. Facilitation and reporting of the onboarding progress to business stakeholders, providing transparency and improved client service. Escalating as required. Proactively identify operational risk/control deficiencies, risk loss events in the business accordingly Keep desktop procedures up to date and refreshed as process changes are made and reviewed on a minimum of annual basis. Ensure compliance with Firm Policies applicable to activities e.g. Global client onboarding procedures, KYC/AML etc. Other business support as directed by reporting manager (e.g. strategic or regulatory initiatives, projects, documentation of policy/procedures and reporting/metrics) Proactively identify opportunities to enhance, streamline and automate processes. Strong knowledge of derivative products. Strong client communication skills required for this client relationship management role. Reviewing requirements specific to onboarding over global products and multiple locations to provide the highest level of Client support for both Internal and External clients. Providing expertise across multiple groups to co-ordinate and facilitate the onboarding of new clients and products. Time Allocation: Onboarding new clients 40% Client support 25% New initiatives/Projects 25% Reporting/Stats 10% What you need to succeed? 2+ years onboarding experience preferred or experience in a related operations role Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Basic Understanding of Capital Markets – FX, Cash and Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, Futures, Commodities and Rates Derivatives Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced Excel skills (macros, look-ups etc) and PowerPoint skills Some experience working on change projects and, open change mindset Proactive, team player, self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills (must be able to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks to meet the fast paced demands of the trading environment) Strong sense of accountability and ownership over "client experience" and end-to-end client on-boarding processes. Ability to successfully navigate a complex infrastructure that involves numerous groups and individuals. The trading floor environment can be a high stress environment that requires quick turnaround, decision making and constant communication. Working with the trading floor staff requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to “think outside the box” often in a high intensity environment. What’s in it for you?
