Experience in battery, electronics, or automotive industry is a plus.   Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse management systems. Expertise in logistics planning and vendor management. Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel. Good understanding of statutory compliance (GST, E-way bills, etc.). Leadership and team management skills. Problem-solving and decision-making ability.   Job Description Key Responsibilities:   1. Stores Management Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials, consumables, spares, and finished goods. Ensure proper documentation and ERP entries for all store transactions. Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure FIFO/LIFO practices. Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation. Implement 5S and safety practices in stores. 2. Logistics & Dispatch Plan and execute inbound and outbound logistics efficiently. Coordinate with transporters for timely dispatch and delivery. Optimize freight costs and route planning. Ensure proper documentation for dispatch (e.g., invoices, e-way bills, packing lists). Monitor vehicle turnaround time and loading/unloading efficiency. 3. Vendor & Transporter Coordination Liaise with suppliers and transporters for material movement and delivery schedules. Resolve issues related to delays, damages, or shortages. 4. Compliance & Documentation Ensure adherence to statutory and company policies related to logistics and stores. Maintain records for audits – internal, statutory, and customer. 5. Team Leadership Lead and develop a team of storekeepers, logistics coordinators, and support staff. Conduct training and performance reviews. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. 6. ERP & Reporting Ensure accurate and timely data entry in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics). Generate MIS reports on inventory, dispatches, and logistics KPIs.
