Job Details Job Location: Wichita, KS 67213 POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees training and supervises duties of tellers, coordinating their work flow and schedules and assist on teller line. Ensures that tellers are trained on all Federal Regulations, Requirements and that they follow all policies, procedures, and compliance issues. Ensures that all tellers handle themselves in a businesslike/professional manner in handling customer needs. Assists the Branch manager in scheduling work and controlling overtime of teller staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Live our mission and corporate philosophy on a daily basis: Build Relationships and Add Value Everyday – B.R.A.V.E. • Build member relationships that deliver value and demonstrate that we care • Oversee the daily operations of the branch to ensure all established policies and procedures are followed. • Foster a positive environment through delivery of exceptional member experiences and efficient branch operations • Ensure effective and efficient branch performance and operations • Build employee relationships that provide a challenging and fulfilling workplace • Provide training, mentoring, and coaching for the frontline staff • Participates in company leadership development • Manage personnel issues when the manager is out of the office • Assure that proper cash procedures and dual controls are being followed according to policy and guidelines • Open new memberships and assist frontline staff when member traffic requires it • Responsible for ensuring completion of month end and quarterly tasks • Responsible for loan generation and goals set forth by the Credit Union through in branch member traffic, and business development opportunities • Process loan applications and collect required documents • Prepare loan sale summary for review by underwriting • Perform loan closings and system maintenance • Must be available for on-call Saturday rotation as Assistant Branch Manager on Duty. Must be able to travel to other branch locations within the perspective region to cover for manager’s out of the office • Performs outside Business Development and participates in our Community Outreach programs • Complete frontline staff scheduling ensuring adequate coverage at all times • Responsible for all administrative functions to include, but not limited to time card management and HR forms • Thorough knowledge of all government regulations • Inspire enthusiastic efforts using the BRAVE philosophy, and a high level of achievement by supporting team members in their efforts to expand their knowledge, maximize their skills, abilities and level of contribution • Strive to present oneself in a professional manner in all interactions and communications while displaying the highest levels of quality, honesty, integrity, confidentiality • Provide documented feedback to Branch Manager pertaining to performance and annual reviews • Assists manager with personnel issues including hiring, terminating, and recognition Qualifications EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school equivalent to approximately 64 credit hours. • NMLS # • Notary and Stamp Certification REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: • Understanding of related regulatory and legal requirements • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills • Results driven and member focused EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
