They deliver scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs, working closely with clients to minimise downtime and extend asset life. This department plays a vital role in sustaining customer satisfaction and protecting the long-term value of our solutions. Role Overview: We are looking to appoint a full time, Field Based Assistant Biomass Maintenance Technician to assist with the daily operational requirements of the existing team in place. Any relevant experience will be beneficial – however full product specific training will be provided. For the right candidate an opportunity to develop into a fully qualified Biomass service engineer will be available. What You'll be Doing The role involves supporting engineers with both monthly and annual planned preventative maintenance across designated heating plants, including tasks such as boiler servicing, fuel store cleaning, and ash removal from biomass boilers (with full training provided). Responsibilities also include keeping fuel stores and energy centres clean and free of debris, maintaining the Paisley office and engineers’ store by managing stock and deliveries, and accurately recording all site visits using an electronic workflow system while travelling to sites throughout Central Scotland.
