Assembly Technician

Merl, Inc seeks a skilled, self-motivated individual to join our team as an Assembly Technician at our Montgomery, Alabama  location. This is an entry-level position with preference given to applicants who have experience working with sheet metal. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and able to excell in a fast-paced environment with opportunity for advancement. There will be an evaluation and possibility for a merit increase upon successful completion of the training period. 

· Fabricating Sheet metal to include precision bending and riveting

· Soldering/brazing of sheet metal

· Assembly involving reading and understanding instructions and blueprints using hand tools and measuring devices

· Wiring, cutting and stripping in application of fasteners
