This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.Job DescriptionOur UK Parts Sales Unit is the dedicated parts enquiry team for Konecranes in the UK, operating from our Head Office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, the team plays a vital role in supporting our customers and internal stakeholders.We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Parts Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to launch a career in sales within a fast-paced, supportive office environment.Our Apprenticeship Programme is built on traditional learning methods, combining hands-on experience with dedicated coaching and mentoring from our experienced Sales Engineers/advisors. This approach ensures you gain practical knowledge, develop essential skills, and build a strong foundation for a successful career in sales.Key Responsibilities:Respond promptly and professionally to parts sales enquiries from a diverse engineering customer base.Prepare accurate and timely quotations for maintenance service customers.Support external UK customers, manage global export enquiries, and assist Konecranes’ internal service branches across the UK.Ensure prompt and professional communication to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will receive:An NVQ L3 Business Administration in line with your apprenticeship programmeComprehensive on-the-job training and experience in a professional sales environmentThe opportunity for a permanent position within our UK Parts Sales UnitContinued career development and progression opportunities within KonecranesWorking Pattern:37.5 hours per week4 days based in the office (inc. 1 day hybrid upon completion of training)1 day per week allocated for study/course workQualificationsWhat we are looking for in you:Education: 5 GCSEs, (minimum grade 4) to include Maths and English.Strong verbal and written communication skillsEagerness to learn and grow within a professional environmentHigh levels of enthusiasm, motivation, and self-initiativeTechnically minded with a proactive approach to problem-solvingFlexible and adaptable to changing prioritiesProficient in using computers and standard office softwareCommitted to delivering excellent customer serviceAdditional InformationWe offer: A highly competitive basic salaryAnnual bonus25 days annual leave, plus bank holidaysEmployee shares save schemeRetail, leisure and travel discountsFree onsite parkingQuarterly team lunchesGallons of free tea, coffee and hot chocolateA friendly working environment  Konecranes moves what matters.
