Position Summary
The Application Developer I is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of Framewerx’s internal tools and software platforms. This role focuses on learning core systems, writing clean and maintainable code, and contributing to team delivery in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Delivery
Assist in translating requirements into working software
Write clear, testable code under supervision and within team standards
Participate in bug fixes, minor enhancements, and documentation
Support QA through testing and validation of releases
Learn to work across both front-end and back-end systems
Architecture & Systems
Gain exposure to REST APIs, databases, and design principles
Help maintain application performance and contribute to technical documentation
Participate in code reviews and team learning sessions
Collaboration & Process
Work closely with internal users to understand requirements
Communicate updates clearly to project leads and peers
Follow internal development procedures and best practices
Participate in team meetings and agile sprint processes
Qualifications & Skills
2-year diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT discipline
0–2 years of professional software development experience
Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
Basic understanding of relational databases and APIs
Willingness to learn version control (Git) and team workflows
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
