About the Role As a key member of our newsroom, you will anchor weekend broadcasts, produce engaging digital content, and report on stories that matter to viewers across Edmonton and beyond. Research, develop, and deliver original, enterprising stories that engage audiences. Shoot, write, edit, and post content across multiple platforms, including TV, radio, and digital. Use creativity and innovation to enhance storytelling through graphics, video, and multimedia elements. Collaborate with newsroom leadership on breaking news coverage and enterprise stories. Contribute to the station’s digital strategy by creating compelling online content. Represent Global Edmonton in the community and through station promotions. Skills and experience you will bring: Post-secondary diploma or degree in broadcasting, journalism, or a related field. At least 3 years of on-air anchor or reporting experience in a medium or major market. Strong editorial judgment, storytelling skills, and an engaging on-air presence. Familiarity with Edmonton and Calgary markets is a plus. A collaborative, positive, and can-do attitude, with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines. Passion for digital journalism and multi-platform content delivery.
