About the role: We’re looking for a smart, curious Insight Consultant to join our team in the UK. If you’ve got 1–2 years of hands-on experience in commercial research or an adjacent field and want to build range, confidence and impact - this is a strong next step. Sitting in our Verve Vero team, you’ll work with major brands across sectors, combining traditional research thinking and skills with new tools and methodologies. That means contributing to the full project cycle – designing research programmes, running fieldwork, analysing data, reporting, delivering and presenting to clients, and getting early exposure to how AI is reshaping insight. At Verve, we don’t bolt AI on - we build it in. You’ll be working in an environment where our tools like Verve Intelligent Personas & Simulations (VIPS) and Maven, our machine-learning-powered engine, are part of how we work every day. You’ll learn how to work with simulations, extract meaning from complex datasets, and help clients see further, faster. Some things you’ll be working on: Getting hands-on with new research tools - including VIPS, our AI-powered simulations, and Maven, which helps structure and analyse unstructured data at scale Exploring and testing how simulations can support audience understanding, concept development, creative testing, and foresight Learning how to summarise and interrogate data in new ways - using AI to speed up and deepen analysis. Gaining first-hand experience with tools such as VS Code, Python, and large language models (LLMs), with full training and guidance provided Pioneering the creation of engaging, future-facing deliverables - using AI to bring insights to life through structured storytelling, visuals, and even simulation-led video content Taking part in cross-team collaboration on how we deliver better insight - bringing together human input, machine-powered analysis and cultural context Supporting projects across brand, comms, innovation, futures and strategy - often in fast-turnaround settings where clarity and agility are key Building your understanding of when to use traditional methods, and when to push for something new What you will need: This is a junior to mid-level role for someone with a solid grounding in research or an adjacent field, who’s ready to advance their career in the fast-evolving world of AI-powered insight. You’ll need: 1–2 years experience. Direct experience in a commercial insight role (agency or client side), with exposure to primary research is valuable but not essential – we also welcome candidates from adjacent fields (e.g. consultancy, creative or tech-driven agencies, marketing, product, UX, or innovation) who bring strong transferable skills Foundational research and insight methods, including quant and qual and interest in applying this knowledge Curiosity about what’s next - especially how AI can unlock better insight, faster Strong attention to detail and a calm, organised approach to delivery A collaborative mindset - you like being part of an innovative team, not just delivering to spec Based in or near Manchester would be an advantage, and able to be in the office at least twice a week
