AFTER SCHOOL AND SOCIAL CO-ORDINATOR

CHILDREN’S SERVICES, DUBLIN

PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (39 Hours Per Week).

Salary: €40,351 -€56,650* (lsi)

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience.

Essential:

  • Level 7 or higher in a CORU recognised Social Care Qualification – list of which can be found at this link: https://coru.ie/health-and-social-care-professionals/education/approved-qualifications/social-care-workers/
  • Up to date CORU registration/ Confirmation of application for registration submitted to CORU.
  • Essential Knowledge and Experience:
  • Experience working within the area of intellectual Disability.
  • Previous experience of working with people with Autism and/or Behaviours of Concern
  • Have experience of Person Centred planning and a desire to support people live their best lives as they choose with an emphasis on community integration and valued social roles.
  • Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Full clean manual Irish driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Desire to support people to live their best lives and commitment to promoting the active engagement and participation of Service Users in their local communities.
  • Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and

learning.
