What You Will Do: Prepare, report, and/or reconcile the Company’s actual, budget, and forecast volumes and revenues. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of deliverables relate to the month-end close and forecasting processes. Support the preparation and analysis of the annual budget and monthly forecasts supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis team and business clients. Analyze variances between actual, budgeted, and/or forecasted volumes and revenues. Review work of peers, provide mentorship to junior employees, and/or coordinate various assignments/initiatives. Prepare monthly account reconciliations. Ensure the integrity of information interfaced from billing systems and reporting systems. Maintain documentation and interact with auditors on SOX processes and controls. Support various “ad hoc” reporting requests and projects including but not limited to regulatory filings, Customer Care and Energy Services support. Develop and implement reporting practices and processes, identify and create efficiency opportunities, and apply best practices. Who You Are: Has a university degree (preference for business or related degree) 4+ years of experience in a finance/accounting role or relevant business process experience CPA preferred but not required A team player with the ability to communicate (written & verbal) technical topics to non-technical audiences, complimented with skills to influence Ability to work independently, organize work, set priorities, and meet deadlines, while keeping colleagues apprised Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) Proven track record of using technology to drive efficiencies and process improvement Working Conditions: Office environment Limited to no travel May be required to work overtime during peak periods Flex Work Arrangements: Enbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
